It’s the end of the month. Mr Paycheck has made a visit to Mr Bank Account. Blacklight got paid. I play the “Will I Drop and Step on the Push Pin Holding Up the Calendar As I Change To The New Month” game. (Answer: duh, yes, it’s me…). We also get to play the “Who Is Moving In/Out” game when a U-Haul pulls up in the front of the building (please please please let it be the people who smoke weed, I don’t need my munchies to get even WORSE). And it’s time to plot what books to review for the coming month and into the bitter New England winter!

Thanks to carefully stuffing a $10 bag at the Simsbury Public Library Book Sale earlier this month, I have some fun retro reads planned. And am in the processing of acquiring even more because a) cheap books are awesome b) retro reads can be fun and c) weekends curled up on Mr Couch with chocolate chunk scones and hot tea when it’s snowing are the BEST (well…until I need to go dig out the cars). And am also in the process of getting some hot new reads. Would you like a sneak peek?
